HamSel provides software that helps homeowners manage home service needs and helps service professionals manage jobs, customers, communications, payments, and business operations. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, disclosed, and protected when you use HamSel.

Depending on how you use HamSel, we may collect account information such as your name, email address, telephone number, account role, and profile information.

Home service information may include service descriptions, property or service location information, photos, messages, quotes, appointments, service status, reviews, and other information you choose to provide.

For service professionals, we may also process business information, service categories, operating areas, availability, payment connection status, and information needed to operate HamSel business tools.

3. Payments

Payment processing and certain payout functions are provided through Stripe. HamSel does not need to store complete payment card numbers in its application database. Stripe may collect information needed to process payments, verify accounts, and deliver payouts according to Stripe's own terms and privacy practices.

4. How we use information

We use information to provide and secure HamSel, operate service workflows, support communication between authorized users, process transactions, maintain service histories, improve product performance, provide customer support, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, and develop useful automation and intelligence features.

5. Artificial intelligence and automation

HamSel may use automated systems to organize service requests, classify service needs, improve workflow efficiency, summarize information, assist with operational decisions, and provide other software features.

HamSel is designed to apply privacy and access controls to these workflows. Automated outputs should not be treated as a substitute for professional judgment where professional, safety, legal, or technical expertise is required.

Information may be shared with users who need it to complete an authorized service workflow, such as a homeowner and the service professional working on that homeowner's request.

We may also use trusted service providers that help operate hosting, authentication, payments, communications, analytics, security, and other platform infrastructure. We do not sell personal information to advertisers.

7. Cookies and usage information

HamSel may collect device, browser, referral, page interaction, and similar technical information necessary to operate, protect, measure, and improve the service.

8. Data security

We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so users should also protect account passwords, authentication methods, and devices.

9. Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide HamSel, maintain business and transaction records, protect the platform, resolve disputes, and satisfy legal or regulatory requirements.
